SPACE = PEACE

SPACE = PEACE

Eckhart Tolle uses the concepts of spaciousness and stillness interchangeably to refer to the state of consciousness in which we experience peace or peacefulness. That state in which thinking and worrying subside, and in which we feel joy and peace of mind instead.

“Spaciousness” and “stillness” may sound a bit abstract to some. But especially spaciousness can be utterly concrete, tangible and yes, physical!

SPACE (in belly) = PEACE (of mind)

That is one of the main points here at OneMission. The analogy of Space we are using is not merely an abstract analogy. When we can create more actual / physical space in our belly, we find more peace and stillness in our mind. Not many people are aware of that.

Indeed, most of us are making that space smaller instead of bigger: we tuck away our belly, we hold our breath, we continuously stuff our stomach with food, we sit all day, we hold our emotions and we stress our inner core so much that the muscles down there are becoming tight like rubber strings — while they are designed to be a juicy and space allowing tenderloin.

The result is that we develop digestion issues in our bellies (constipation, reflux,…) and mental stress in our heads because we can’t turn off the (thinking) engine anymore.

No blame on any particular individual, because this is often how society has raised us. But if we want to get better, we are the ones who can make substantial changes.

Gordian Balancing and Gordian Massaging are just two ways in which we literally create more Space in the Belly, which may help to relieve digestion issues, and to bring more peace of mind.
